Join us for one of the most unique events in Charleston. On July 31, 2010 hundreds of people will huff and puff their way up and down 1,144 stairs in the North Charleston Coliseum. Whether climbing for a winning time or simply to cross the finish line in honor or in memory of someone with lung disease, this event is a great way to challenge yourself physically. We guarantee that all finishers will have a new-found respect for healthy lungs!

Consider one of over 150 adoptable felines at the Pet Helpers Adoption Center who are waiting for a home. Spend a few minutes in the bright, airy social cat rooms and one of them will surely bat their eyelashes at you!
All animals at Pet Helpers have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and come with a month of free pet health insurance, and also a voucher for a free wellness visit at a participating local vet.
Pet Helpers aims to end the euthanasia of all adoptable cats and dogs in the Lowcountry and works to accomplish this goal by keeping all animals until adopted, providing low cost spay/neuter surgeries, offering humane education programs, pursuing animal cruelty prosecution, and initiating animal welfare legislation. For more information visit www.pethelpers.org or call (843) 795-1110.
